To our Valued Members,
We felt it necessary to provide a response to our previous email regarding our business processes during this unprecedented time.
We received emails from several concerned members, and as you know, your opinions and input is what makes The Lodge the wonderful small business it is.
Prompted by these responses, we took an even closer look at our statements and with the updated guidelines of limiting public gatherings to 10 people or less as well as our contact with several physicians across the country, we have made the socially responsible decision to close temporarily and until further notice.
We will close The Lodge Round Rock at 12AM this evening(Wednesday, March 18 @12AM) in efforts to keep our members and staff safe and do our part to limit the potential spread into our community and those surrounding us. We know this will disappoint some of our members, and undoubtedly cause challenges for our staff, but we believe that the sooner we all make this commitment to the community and our country, the sooner we can get back to doing what we love, playing poker.
Unfortunately, we know that we cannot make everyone happy and there will be mixed opinions. However, please know that we are doing the best we can to navigate the situation as there is no “playbook” in handling such a pandemic. We will continue to communicate as more information and guidance becomes available.
Now, we know that many of you may choose to go play at other facilities whose doors will remain open until further mandates are made, but we hope you can appreciate our commitment and attempts to do our part to get ahead of the situation. We hope to see all of your smiling faces back at The Lodge Round Rock once we can say that the worst of the global crisis is behind us.
Please stay healthy and safe,
The Lodge Round Rock Family
